Review: LastPass - Never Forget Your Passwords Again With This Easy Password Manager!

This post brought to you by LastPass for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

"Your password is wrong. Please try again." - Sounds familiar? I encounter that problem all the time. I used to have the same password, but then I run into problems when certain websites require a combination of capital letters, special characters and numbers, so I had to tweak my previous password.

By now I have like at least 10 different passwords, and there is no way I can remember all of them. I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about, right? Are you're having similar problems? Stay with me. I found a brilliant solution and it's called LastPass.

What is LastPass?

LastPass is a simple and secure password manager that will help you to organize and store all your passwords in one safe place. You can use it on all major browsers, platforms and mobile devices. All you have to remember is the one master password, and LastPass will give you access to all your other passwords. Basically LastPass will simplify your life and give you more time to spend on the important things in life.

How does LastPass work?

Let's start with the setup. Go to LastPass and install the free plugin to your browser. Then sign up and create your master password. This will be the only password you have to remember. It's very important to remember this password as you can't recover it.

From now on, every time you log into an account, LastPass will ask you to save this password. Also, LastPass will store all your passwords in one place, which means no more frustration that comes from different passwords in different places. Additionally, you can keep secure records of your credit card credentials, passports, software keys and more with LastPass.

If you're traveling and using a public computer, you can access your passwords from lastpass.com at any time. If you're using often unprotected computers in cyber cafés, I suggest to get one of the USB thumb drive options: LastPass Portable and LastPass Pocket.

What's great about LastPass?

LastPass is incredibly easy to use! You only have to remember your one master password in order to access all your other passwords. No typing required, LastPass autofills user names and passwords for you so you don’t have to. You can access it anywhere, from any device, quick and easy. Everything is backed up and synced automatically, no matter where you are.

Another great feature is that LastPass can create new passwords for you when you're running out of ideas. No need to think about new passwords. All these passwords are stored in one secure place.

How much does it cost to use LastPass?

Not much at all. Actually, you can start with the free version, that will let you use LastPass on one device. The premium version will sync across all your devices and cost only $12/year. Additionally, you get priority support and a couple more options including collaborations (share passwords with family and friends).

Overall, LastPass is one of the most affordable password managers on the market.

The Bottom Line

I'm absolutely impressed with LastPass and I will definitely keep using it. For me it's the best way to manage and store all my passwords. It's very affordable with a low price of only $12/year, but actually even the free version offers enough for me at that time.

You can check it out for yourself, I'm sure LastPass will simplify your life, too! Forget about all your different passwords and spend more time on things that matters to you.
